Tracy Tachiera, M.A.
Tracy Tachiera, M.A., is the Learning and Innovation Director for IDI, LLC & ICS Inventory, LLC as well as an IDI Qualified Administrator and an IDI Qualifying Seminar Instructor. As Learning and Innovation Director, Tracy coordinates IDI, LLC and ICS Inventory, LLC projects and programs, works with QAs in delivering IDI best practices, and supports QAs who are embarking on institutional change efforts based on IDI administration and implementation.
Diversity, equity, and inclusion are themes that have been embedded throughout Tracy’s work. As a first-generation college student, Tracy earned a BA and an MA in Human Development at Washington State University and spent the first part of her career as faculty in the Human Development department at Washington State University Vancouver. As a Clinical Assistant Professor, Tracy taught Family Diversity and Families in Poverty, among a variety of other courses. She also acted as a student adviser, working with Human Development undergrad students to inform their course and career choices. She was a founding member of and instructor for the faculty and staff professional development program Building a Community of Equity (BaCE) which provides conceptual and practical works, self-reflection and group discussion, skill-building, and action steps to align with and advocate for equity throughout the campus community. As part of this effort, Tracy conducted numerous group IDI debriefs and many individual IDI debriefs with administration, faculty, and staff. In addition to her work with BaCE, Tracy was a member of the following committees: Equity of Student Outcomes Council; Collective for Social and Environmental Justice; and the Council of Equity, Diversity, and Inclusion.
